Warwickshire Means Business

Entrust Care Partnership Directors were invited to the Warwickshire Means Business event at Shire Hall on Thursday 11th September. With over 200 delegates representing small & medium sized businesses it was a diverse and vibrant mix, ranging as it did from small independent butchers to marketing organisations and electrical engineers.

Councillors & Members of Parliament were well represented including our own supportive MP Chris White (Leamington & Warwick) who has been a tremendous source of practical help to Entrust Care Partnership. The Leader of the Council Izzi Seccombe, following her opening speech ‘telling the Warwickshire Story’ welcomed Lord Heseltine who gave a thought provoking and invigorating address to the audience.

The evening concluded with the formal signing of the Going for Growth deal by Greg Clark, Minister for Universities, Science & Cities and Jonathan Browning, Chairman of the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership.

Entrust Care Partnership will certainly be exploring the Apprentice initiative and welcomed the further promotion of the Safe Places Scheme which supports people with learning disabilities if they feel unsafe whilst out in the community.
