Welcome back to Toddlers

After the rather long summer holidays the new term, began on Monday 7th September.

During the summer we have spruced up our half of the toy shed with new storage boxes having had a general ‘clear out’. The shelves holding our toys and equipment were mostly arched and bent and we are so grateful to David Bristow (granddad of one of our Toddlers) for his sterling efforts in straightening them out! On behalf of everyone – thank you so much.

Love Ballet We have some exciting visitors in the forthcoming weeks, Miss Lorraine from the local Love Ballet Dance Company will be hosting an hour’s Toddler dance sessions with music and movement suitable for all. The first session will be on 14th September and a subsequent one on 12th October so do please try to join us for those.
Deborah Dutton, from Southam Children’s Centre will be leading a creative art session on 21st September.

Please also can you note that the coffee morning at All Saints Church, Tom Hauley Room will be run by Entrust Care Partnership to raise funds for Toddlers on 24th October, between 10 – 12 noon, so cakes and raffle prizes will be welcome nearer the time.

Entrust Care Partnership, a not for profit organisation who provide services for disabled children and families is responsible for running Toddlers and during the past 18 months Emma has supported the group volunteering her time and skills. The good news is we are now supporting many more disabled children but the bad news is that Emma is no longer able to commit to the group. Selina, also through Entrust Care Partnership is now helping us, with her young son Elijah but we would really welcome some local support, if you are able to help for a short time, on the odd occasions or on a regular basis please do give me a call. It is rewarding and you meet some wonderful children and their parents.

We are based at the Wight School, High Street, Harbury, CV33 9HW (brown gate to the side) and meet at 9.30am saying bye bye at 11.15. Please come along ….. the kettle’s on.
