So This is Christmas and what have you done?

HoHoHo just met lovely Sophie and Olivia from Toddlers who has informed everyone of importance in her life that Mommy and Daddy must leave Santa a tot of whisky (single malt)..…“what good listening Sophie”. Now we think about it, Father Christmas advertised this fact several times at our recent Christmas Party – sorry guys !!!!!!!! Will have a quiet word in time for 2018! A total of 1,406 people have looked at the party photographs on our Facebook Page Wow wee. The Toddler group continues to thrive with lots of special visitors, parties and trips out, thank you everyone.

And so this is Christmas I hope you have fun

We certainly have with our dancing phenomenon. Tall Dance Tales, our creative dance group were an absolute triumph performing at the RSC’s Other Place no less. Grown Ups & Wigglers for under-fives, creative movement for children and their parents hosted in Rugby, Stratford upon Avon and Warwick proved a delight. GU-and-W

Film, drama and lots of other stuff has certainly been a great hit with our Siblings Group. Last thing we did before Christmas was a little concert, interspersed with messages for our family and friends …check it out on our Facebook page.

Entrust Entrepreneurs are putting their new cooking and barista skills to excellent use working in a cafe and serving the Community. And for those who enjoy different physical activities Sporting Chance offers everyone a chance to develop their abilities with rugby, cricket and other sports. We need our own ‘Entrust Sports Personality of the Year.

Since April we have delivered 4,170 hours of individual support and care with our One to One Service and in addition our Out & About does exactly what it says on the tin – providing Volunteers to take youngsters out and about.

And so this is Christmas, for weak and for strong

On a more serious but equally important note we, with skilled Counsellors, supported families touched by bereavement with a series of workshops and regular counselling sessions has featured highly on what we have been blessed to offer thru’ 2017. Together with Warwickshire Parent and Carer Forum our Coffee & Chats has given parents and carers the opportunity to talk about their concerns and share information whilst Velvet Bulldozer has enabled 60 individuals to build emotional resilience and get their voices heard.

A very merry Christmas And a happy New Year, Let’s hope it’s a good one

In May, 177 people came to our Celebrating Children Event which paid tribute to families and celebrated the lives of children and the joy they bring… We secured a second Children in Need grant for three years hurrah…And won the Pride of Warwick Carer of the Year 2017, glad rags were worn while bursting with pride. Pride

So this is Christmas And what have you done? Another year over And a new one just begun

We are very proud to be able to celebrate our year, all the families, children and young people whom we have had the privilege of meeting, all the partners and friendships we have made and all the support we have received, we couldn’t have done it without you.

Look out for more exciting services in 2018. Thank you and
